You can order from their different dishes. If you don’t bring enough food, drinks, or snacks they have a store open until 10PM. The resort also have a large pavilion for different functions, this is also a fun place for your friends, families and officemates to sing your favorite video-oke song for only 5 pesos per song. They offer rooms good for up to 8 persons. The huts, which are of different sizes, are reminiscent of the nipa hut but with some obviously modern furnishings (metal roofing, cement ladders, posts and glass windows). The cottages are your typical booth plus table in the middle plus nipa roof on top. You’ll see a different kind of huts and cottages that guest can rent. The place is very peaceful especially if you will visit the place during weekdays. Walking around Bato Springs is really a treat. It has very clear and sparkling water coming from the mountain. It is a place of natural home ground for butterflies, dragonflies and birds. It is also a romantic place if you want to spend quality time with your special someone. Take the road leading the Bato Springs.Look for the “Bato Springs” sign on your left, you can see it about 5 minutes from the intersection.The next intersection has a sign leading you to Bato Springs take left, this road is bound to Dolores, Quezon.Just take the Road bound to Lucena Quezon, after passing San Pablo City look for a Meralco Station on your left. Coming from Manila, take South Expressway to Calamba Exit.Going back to Manila, just ride a tricycle again outside the resort and wait until a bus appears at the highway. The ride is good for 5 people and no matter how many you are, the fixed price to the resort is 150 Php, one way. I was just so amazed for being in place where there is so much peace and the green surroundings was so pleasing to my eyes. And because it weekdays, the staffs on the resort gave us discount. But, we reach the place few minutes before 9. I thought we will get there by 9 30 to 10 am. The driver was so familiar with the road to bato springs. They rented a jeep worth 5,500 for a round trip for 20 persons. Our call time was 6 am, and fortunately, we got completed at the exact time. The moment I said YES, I was so excited because I promised to myself that I will definitely get back to this place. I can call it a paradise because it surrounded with lush green scenery and refreshing cold water. But it doesn’t stop me, to see the unique beauty of this place. Three years ago I visited this resort with my family and it was so crowded because its holy week. I got lucky when they invited me to join the birthday celebration of my cousin’s friend at Bato Spring Resort in San Pablo Laguna. Of course yes! I was so bored at our house the whole 2 weeks and my feet is itching to go out to far places. Semester break is so boring if we don’t have a getaway with friends or with our family? Right?
